Over 7,000,000 people live in Tehran, the capital of Iran. Although Iran is run by an Islamic government, the people are mostly Persian, which is unique. They speak Farsi, a language that you might know if you've ever worked or applied to work for the CIA. Iran was changed by the Islamic Revolution in the late 1970's that brought back a stricter Islamic government. Today, Tehran is making headlines as being the center for a new nuclear debate and it's president, Mahmoud Ahmadinejad, has come out in the press saying he wants to erase Israel off the map.
